I run a personal professional bicycle service based on a lifetimes experience on working on all types of bicycle and training as a precision engineer.

This is just an overview. Servicing is done in great detail and you will feel the difference when you ride!

General service plus, full services and wheel build are usually collected and returned within three working days. Travel within three miles of Truro is included. Please email or call if you are further afield and we can make a plan for you.

I price my work like a professional tradesman. a basic service or first 2 hours is £60, I charge £125 for a half day and £250 for a full day.

Suspension service and set up is no problem.

E bikes bookings are welcome but I can’t warranty certain motors. Specific upgrades like hydraulics are charged at time, as internal hydraulics under motors are obviously more time heavy than an externally routed road bike.

Basic Service or 2 hours repair.

£60 (+ parts)

First 2 hours of repair or a basic service.

This time could be a brake bleed, parts fitting, or a basic service.

General Service Plus

£125 (+ parts)

An enhanced Standard Service including all of the above items, but in addition the Bottom Bracket bearing set is stripped and re-greased and the Chain, Cassette, Chainset and Derailleurs are removed and degreased.

ame & forks wiped down and checked for alignment

  • Headset checked for free movement and adjusted if required

  • Bottom Bracket checked for free movement and adjusted if required

  • Allen bolts checked and tightened to correct torque

  • External adjustment of all bearings

  • Lubrication of chain, mechs & cables

  • Adjustment of brakes and gears

  • Wheel hubs and rims checked for damage and wear

  • Pump and inspect tyres for wear and tear

  • Safety check (all fittings / mudguards / racks etc. are securely fastened)

  • Brakes checked for effective operation and adjusted

Does not include parts or servicing of suspension and hydraulic brakes.

Full service

£180 (+ parts)

The full service offers you a complete and thorough checkover and will mean that your bike is returned to a condition as close to new as possible.

Bike stripped down to the bare frame, cleaned and checked for alignment and damage. All threads cleaned and checked.

  • Hubs disassembled, cleaned, inspected, then rebuilt with fresh grease and refitted

  • Bottom Bracket removed, cleaned, inspected, then rebuilt or replaced as required, with fresh grease and refitted

  • Headset removed, inspected, then rebuilt or replaced as required.

  • All other fittings removed, checked for wear, cleaned and re-lubricated

  • Brake blocks / disc pads checked and replaced if required (Parts extra)

  • Replacement of any other worn parts if required (Parts Extra)

  • Safety check (all ancillary fittings)

  • All cables replaced, inner and outer.

  • Chain cleaned and lubricated, gears set up

Does not include parts or servicing of suspension and hydraulic brakes

Custom Build

£250 (+ parts)

Full build from frame up. Threads chased if need be.

Internal cable routing and hydraulic hose fitting.

Riding position and set up included.
